In an effort to get signatures to those requesting them, I spent today fiddling with a bookplate design.
I’ll tell you one thing, I’ll tell you another. It’s hard to update a blog while you are working on a novel & holding a full time job making videos games. It used to be the case that I had some horrible mindless job where creativity was disregarded on the best days and actively scorned on others, where upper management types asked me with their eyes, “Who the hell do you think you are? Coming up with ideas?” It’s funny how pay stubs accumulate into piles of insulating ego.

Crazy, I know! But when the whip of the agent cracks across my tender lower back I do as I’m told. I have welts to prove it. Oh, those are corduroy pillow marks from where I fell asleep on the sofa without a shirt. Nevermind.
