I love words. I mean I really love words. I’m one of those people that isn’t going to snub a word or declare its irrelevance based on the simpleton’s notion that we’ve got another word that means nearly the same thing and is a whole lot easier to remember. Words are like notes and the arrangement of them in any given order is going to resonate with a certain set of people at the same time it chafes others. Your music is my noise and so on.

It’s been hectic. I got sick, which was a drag. It stuck me in bed for several days. Once I got out of bed I had a million errands to run in order to catch up and, funny thing, a bunch of email. It seems real human’s have started buying my book — at least a few copies — and some of them emailed me. I find it polite to respond.
The book is out. Finally.
I’ll have some more news later today but first things first. I wanted to announce the winners of the free signed copies. All the entries were really quite good and boiling it down to two was hard. In the end, I did what any good ex-game-master would do. I got out my percentile dice. Fair, right?
As all who know me know, witnessing a truly euphoric outburst from me is a rarity on par with catching a snipe while you are on a snipe hunt.
